CRAFTED STORYTELLING. GLOBAL AUDIENCE.

We work with brands, organisations and creators to transform complex concepts into content that resonates with audiences, all guided by premium documentary experience.

Stories are being told in more ways than ever before. Across film, short-form content, podcasts and digital platforms, but the fundamentals haven’t changed. In a fast-moving media landscape, strong storytelling is the things that always cuts through, builds trust and connects with audiences. That’s why experienced storytellers matter.

Frontier Films is a story-led production and consulting company working across film and audio formats, helping brands, NGOs, creators and organisations shape complex ideas into stories that travel. We focus on narrative, clarity and craft, helping you choose the medium that best serves the story.

Our work is flexible and scalable. We can support projects at the earliest stages of development or provide full end-to-end delivery across production, post-production and release. Led by an experienced documentary director, producer, and production partnership, Frontier Films brings premium storytelling craft and real-world, global production expertise to guide ideas from first concept to finished work.

Why Us?

Experience Matters

Real-world experience

We bring decades of experience producing, directing and delivering complex, real-world stories to the highest broadcast standards. Our work has been shaped in environments where plans shift, access is limited, and strong storytelling depends on sound judgement and adaptability.

Senior Creative Leadership

Your project is led directly by experienced series producers, directors and line producers, not handedoff or diluted. We’ve led large teams, managed tight timelines and budgets, and made creative decisions under pressure, bringing that leadership straight to your project.

Proven Track Record

We’ve delivered premium factual and documentary projects for leading global platforms and broadcasters, including the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and CuriosityStream. That experience informs how we shape stories built to meet international editorial expectations.

Global Network, Local Insight

Over years of working internationally, we’ve built a trusted global network of collaborators, local experts and production partners. From access and local knowledge to crew and logistics, we bring together the right people to make films anywhere in the world.

How It Works

Our role is shaped around each project. We can contribute a specific piece of expertise or take responsibility for the entire process, depending on what the story needs.

1

We Start Where You Are

Some projects begin as a rough idea, others are already in motion. We step in where it’s most useful, from early story development to full delivery.

2

We Shape The Story

We help clarify narrative, structure and intent, shaping ideas into stories with a clear direction. This can be a focused development phase or the foundation for a full production.

3

We Lead When Needed

If a project moves into production, we provide experienced creative and production leadership, guiding teams, adapting to reality, and keeping the story on track.

4

We Deliver End To End

When needed, we handle the full journey. Development, production, post-production and release, ensuring continuity and clarity from start to finish.
